About Canadian Music Week (CMW) 2018

Canadian Music Week (CMW) is a well-established and highly recognized musical event that focuses on the music business. For nearly four decades, this major event has been bringing together music enthusiasts, musicians, industry leaders, media representatives, journalists, and people from all over the musical world. During the week-long festival, there is a combination of different events such as conferences, a trade exhibition, a film festival, a comedy festival, and of course, the concerts.

Canadian Music Week Location

CMW takes place in Ontario, Canada. During the daytime, events take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. At night, different venues can be found around Toronto. Some of the places hosting musical events during CMW include:

More than 40 locations for CMW 2019 are yet to be announced, but next year’s event will once again be hosted at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

CMW 2018 and 2019 Dates

CMW will take place from Monday, May 7 to Sunday, May 13, 2018. Be sure to mark your calendars for next year, when CMW 2019 will take place from Monday, May 6 to Sunday, May 12 (for the festival) and Thursday, May 9 to Saturday, May 11 (for the conference).

CMW Ticket Prices

For this year’s show, you can choose from different options each offering different advantages. The different tickets you can choose from include:

• The Explorer Wristband ($75.00): This is the perfect ticket for anybody looking to get access to all venues throughout the entirety of the festival. This ticket:
  • Is valid for all seven days
  • Grants entrance to club series shows only
  • Does not include access to the Concert Series Shows
  • Grants access to all venues (subject to capacity)
  • Is non-refundable and the sale is final
• The Explorer + Pass ($150.00): This is a priority pass ticket that grants you access to every venue plus the CMW Club Series Shows. This ticket:
  • Is valid for all seven days
  • Has priority entrance to all CMW Club Series Shows
  • Grants Access to all venues (subject to capacity)
  • Is a final sale and is non-refundable
• Individual Show Ticket: This is an individual ticket purchase that guarantees you a place in a venue. Just go to the CMW website, select a venue, and buy your ticket.

Can I Buy My Ticket at The Door?

When it comes to shows that are in such high demand for tickets, you should always plan ahead. However, your schedule might not cooperate. This is why some people prefer to buy tickets at the door.
